Royal Palm Beach, FL
The new Crestwood residential community includes 385 residences on a 154-acre decommissioned wastewater treatment plant site owned by the Village of Royal Palm Beach. Due diligence, planning, entitlement, environmental, and landscape architecture services were provided to successfully obtain rezoning, site plan, master plan, architectural, and plat approvals within deadlines.
Responsibilities also included mapping wetlands and habitats, leading wetland permitting, and dispatching Florida Wildlife Commission-authorized agents to locate protected species such as gopher tortoises. A tree inventory was taken and the site was verified to be free of historical and archaeological resources.
